Well, it's been a few days since I last posted, and it's battlefield bad company 2 time this week! =D I'm not too bothered about it to be honest it's just something entirely different for a change!
at the moment I'm watch the fresh prince of bel air, tired as a fook, but I'll be fine, not much else to tell really..so I'll see you all later

Rock Band - iPhone Review
Well a while back i promised a review of "rock band" for the iPhone...
i haven't really had chance to sit down and write 1 properly as of yet, but here is just a short review and a mark out of 5.
to begin with, the whole concept seemed flawless to me, i love rock band, i love my iPhone, so i couldn't see harmonix going wrong with the game.
the price was £3.99, and at the time there was no demo or "lite" version for me to try out. so the price is now still £3.99.
the gameplay is still the same as previous rock band games, apart from the fact that you now have 2 instrument button types to press and a timer press for singing (don't worry you don't sing yourself)
the drums look exactly like the rock band instrument drums, 4 pads, but on a touch screen, the guitar and bass share the same type of controls, just button pressing, meanwhile singing you have 4 buttons to press to make the singer sing, if you don't hit them in time, well they don't sing.
now the massive flaw this game has is the entire touch screen, when your playing on the drums, you can't help but accidently hit 2 pads when your ment to be hitting 1, the timing is slightly off from the songs motion, so it makes it harder to play.
the guitar and bass are fine, but when it comes to fast parts it starts to get a bit awkward.
the difficulty only goes up to hard on the game, which is a shame, as once you know how to control the game properly, you can fly through the songs easily on hard, so the addition of "expert" would have been nice.
the song choice is fantastic, a bit of something for everyone, well apart from the street life chav obviously.
theres no need to talk about graphics as the background is essentially a video being repeated.
overall, this game does exactly what tap tap revenge 1, 2 and 3 does but with more well known stuff, the gameplay is let down by the way its all been cramped together, there is a border around the game, wasting space where the drums and guitar could have been seperated more, the song choices are fantastic as i have said before and finally, it isn't something i would reccomend to anyone at all, i would never do it

So it's the next day, and today I'm not working, I managed to get sonic and sega all star racing, which is awesome! And had a good day at work too!
well, next week we have battlefield bad company 2 which should be an interesting addition to my game collection, I'm picking it up for £9.99, thanx to my local indie store, probably get it a day early too.

So it's morning, and in getting ready for work!
gonna get the bus I think, anyway, today I should be picking up, sonic & sega all star racing!
if I don't I won't be too pleased!, been stood at this bus stop for a good 10 minutes now with my bottle of coca cola, I hope this bus doesn't muck about.
but, it's been a busy start to the year for us gamers am I right or what?

mass effect 2
then the list just gets bigger but they were 2 major titles this year so far.
my underdog of the year so far, it'll have to be, dynasty warriors strikeforce, it's a great game, and a totally different approach to the dynasty warriors series.
Anyway on the bus now guys and girls so I'll see you all on live!

interesting....
so today was rather boring, sat in all day .. due to snow !
i was planning on finishing christmas shopping...but decided against it and kept warm instead..
but i have everyones but the girlfriends! haha
christmas this year should be nice, i should get quite alot of stuff i like..
after christmas though, hopefully ill be picking up a ps3 a few games and bayonetta with my christmas money!
should be awesome after christmas then for me!
but im finishing off my rock band iphone review! so keep an eye out !

i haven't posted here in a while, but christmas is coming, and i have vowed that i will post a review for whatever game for whatever console, on here...

im currently writing up a rock band iphone review!
i will post it up here and me and @routinecurry on twitter are talking about sharing a youtube channel, where ill then do a video demonstration and review of rock band iphone!

today...
well, today im just sat here, thinking about how to get round certain situations .. such as getting tekken 6 ... then 2 weeks later ... getting modern warfare 2 =S ...
if i worked it out right ... i should be fine ..
but i dont really know ..
recently, ive been thinking about alan wake alot ... and how much of a crap thing its going to be ...
lets be honest ... all that "secretive trailers" and stuff .. all lead up to something 3/4 of the people who were excited about the trailers .. to hate the guts of the company who is making it haha
its funny how things like that get pushed onto us ..
like me with, with halo odst ... i didnt really want it .. but for some stupid reason, i ended up pre-ordering it .. a week of its release, and got it a day before its release ..
i mean, the 1st game i pre-ordered with my indie store, was gears of war 2 now i got that off of them 2 days early, and playing it early, was rather fun and funny .. with the tuns of messages being sent to me asking me were i got it from...i even sent a picture message to alot of them to prove i hadnt downloaded it ..
anyway...i think that the gaming industry has alot of control over us .. along side the reviewers ..
but ill leave this now lol
